Job Responsibilities
Our team is looking for a Java Architect - experienced with IBM's Rational Application Developer (RAD), IBM DB2 databases, and IBM MQSeries.
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: 24 Months
Job Location: Albany, NY (Hybrid)
Responsibilities Include:
- Development of tax processing system components.
- Maintenance of existing processing systems.
- Defect monitoring and resolution.
- Coordination with development team on development.
- Creating system documentation.
Experience Requirements:
- Experience with J2EE technologies including EJB, JDBC, JSP and XML.
- Experience with Java programming in an IBM development environment using IDE of IBM's Rational Application Developer (RAD) that are deployed to Websphere Application Server (WAS).
- IBM DB2 experience working with DB2 databases and experience with XML schemas (definition, querying and automated generation).
- Experience in performance tuning applications interacting with databases.
- Experience in IBM MQSeries .
- Experience with an organization which includes technical design, development, maintenance and end user support of complex system.
